In 2015, I decided to take every few months off of creating a new goal, so I can focus on the older ones.

In January, I focused on my budget and getting out of debt.  Not exactly something that can be done in a month.  While I haven’t been as strict as I was in January, I feel confident I am heading in the right direction.  I received my tax return, and immediately paid off one of my credit cards.  This leaves me with 2 left to pay.  I am doing the snowball method, so I am now paying off my next smallest card.  This should be done by the end of summer.  My last card to go will be a doozy, but I think if I stay focused I will be able to put a dent in it.

I have been able to keep up with all my bills, which I feel is how things spiraled out of control for me before.  I would love to eventually be debt free.  I know they say money can’t buy happiness, but it sure would be less stressful with more!

In February, I updated my hallway.  I was pleased with how it all turned out, but still wanted to change it just a tad more.  This month, I painted a few of the frames navy to help make them pop a little more and add color to the hallway.  In keeping with my trend of ruining things while DIY’ing…I broke the glass on one of the frames while trying to take it out.

I am really hoping that by taking a month off, I am ready to dive into new goals!  Bring it on, April.
