Thank you to Big G Cereal for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring super hero fun in our home!

I’ve mentioned it before, but HJ loves super hero’s.  He has a cape that gets worn frequently, and as I type this the batmobile and bat castle (house? building?) sit on the floor in front of me.  That’s why, when I heard about DC Comics in select boxes of Big G cereals, I knew my boy would be a fan.

HJ loves eating trix for a bedtime snack or for breakfast, but hadn’t tried Cinnamon Toast Crunch yet…one of my favorites.  I decided to make some tasty cupcakes and have HJ and I read the comic books during snack time.  (I will share the recipe on Friday!)

The back of the cereal boxes had some cut-outs that we had fun with.

4 Thoughts on “Big G Cereal and a Superhero Snack

  1. I have two boys and they love their super heroes! Can’t wait to get some cereal! It should be a fun morning, thanks for the info!

  2. My 3 year old son is just starting to get into super heroes. We’ll have to get some Big G cereal next week at the grocery store!

  3. I really like this post. Big G cereal is the only cereal I will eat. What did your son think of Cinnamon Toast Crunch- I love it to snack on, but I think it’s too sweet when I get to the end of my cereal and the milk. I love the promotion idea as comic books are the big thing now. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  4. Yum, I would love some of those cupcakes! My kids had fun with the masks too!
