There has been a lot of fuss over passionfruit in the blogging world lately. I understand why they have decided to charge a monthly rate…it’s a business after all. However, my blog doesn’t make money, I don’t expect to make lots off my sponsors. When I heard the change, I started searching for a new way to handle sponsors, and I have already made the switch to adproval. Switching was easy, adproval actually set up all my codes and transferred over my current sponsors, I just had to plug it all in!
Has anyone else switched to something new? I have had “one of those weeks”. I am completely off on my days and weeks and have a huge list of things to do that keeps growing instead of getting smaller. Case and point: At one point this week, HJ’s sitter showed up at our house at 7:15, I meant to schedule her for the following week, but I am that far off on my days. Poor thing was knocking on the door ready to play, and I sent her home.
I brought HJ to a parade, and came face to face with this… I will probably never look at this post again because that picture really freaks me out. HJ starts school soon. I am so excited, but at the same time, I really want to hold onto my baby. Whenever I am agitated, or get short with my answers, HJ tells, “Don’t be crabby”. Every time, without fail, it makes me smile.
The other day, I received a package in the mail from Crystal Farms. It was a box of cheese y’all. I LOVE CHEESE. A few weeks ago, they emailed me to let me know they wanted to share some cheese. I tried to remain all cool, but come on, CHEESE, yes please! The Smoky BBQ is by far my favorite, yum. I also shared it with some neighbors, the guys loved the habenero and chipotle pepper. This is an awesome quick snack that I will be able to throw in lunch boxes for myself and HJ.
HJ and I wanted to go on a walk one night. He asked me to help him get his cape on. On the way to the door, he looked at me and said, “ok mom, do you remember the rules?” I shook my head no, and he went on to tell me, “you need to listen and be polite.” He also mentioned, “and I am a super hero, not HJ. Also, I will be calling you Kristin.”
