Remember on the last pinterest challenge how I started using homemade face wash?  A few people have asked for an update, so here it is.  I am still using the homemade face wash and have no plans on going back.  While I haven’t noticed any huge differences (good or bad), my skin does feel softer, especially at night.  I have stopped using toner at night as well as putting on a moisturizer.  It acts as a great make-up remover, and I have not had to use eye-makeup remover once.  If you are on the fence about trying it, I highly recommend it!

Due to some odd things my body is doing, the Doctor has recommended switching to an IUD.  This freaks me out because, you know, it’s inserted in your uterus. But, it seems a lot of people like it.  Please help reassure me, google didn’t.  In fact google has me so freaked out, it almost caused an anxiety attack.  AHHH!

Every now and then, I look at the search terms that led people to my blog.  There are usually a few that make me laugh and a few that make me say, “huh?”, here are a few of them:

  • Full nude strip boys (I imagine whatever they were looking for was NSFW)
  • Strip clubs for kids (whoever wrote this is a bad parent in my book)
  • What car does Anna Kendrick drive (I googled this, can’t find it, sorry!)
  • I like hj (good for you, however, I bet this site isn’t what they were looking for)

I feel like the searches are telling me there are a lot of pervs online.

In May, we planted a veggie garden.  I usually kill all plants, so I figured that is what would happen with our garden.  Instead, I think the rainy weather has been helping!  Here is what our garden looks like as of this week:

See all that lush green stuff? VEGGIES!  The garden is starting to look packed, and I think we might actually get some produce.  As long as that isn’t just a bunch of weeds growing.

I can’t help but dance when I hear this song…

Hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July!

3 Thoughts on “Friday Ramblings

  1. I got my IUD about 6 months after my son was born. Had it for almost a year now and love it. No problems to speak of.

  2. I don’t have an IUD but most everyone I know that does likes it alot!
